Several household hazardous waste collection events have been scheduled in Johnson County.

Residents can safely dispose of waste and e-waste at these collection events. Explosives, ammunition, tires, latex paint, asbestos, smoke alarms, radioactive waste, unlabeled items, and medical waste will not be accepted.

The collection events will be held at these following dates:
-April 20
-May 18
-June 21
-July 20
-August 16
-September 21
-October 19

Each collection event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 326 East North Street in Warrensburg.
