Joe D. Lent, 73, of Marshall, MO, died Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

The family is holding a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 8, 2024, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall, with Fr. Francis Doyle officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church. Memorials are suggested to family choice in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Born October 7, 1950, in Trenton, MO, he was the son of the late Robert Dean Lent and Olive Mae Etherton Lent.  On October 3, 1975, he married Teresa Ann Duvall who survives of the home. He worked as a meat cutter for Wilson’s and ConAgra. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council 876 in Marshall.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa; two sons, Anthony (Jenny) Lent and Benjamin (Mindy) Lent; four grandchildren, Haylee, Quaid, Isaac and Karly Jo Lent; one brother, Jerry Lent; one sister, Theresa Nieman (Bob); and several nieces and nephews.
