Marshall Public Schools held a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the beginning of construction to the Marshall Intermediate School.

The ceremony was held at 1 p.m. on the land across from Spainhower Primary School, located at 700 East Slater Street. The district plans to begin construction of the Intermediate School at the end of February or early-March, weather dependent.

The planned location of the Intermediate School will be across the street from Spainhower Primary School, just directly north of that facility.
