Dr. Christopher Kindle and Andrew Fischer from State Fair Community College were elected to the West Central Missouri Music Educators Association (WCMMEA) during the Missouri Music Educators Association Conference on Jan. 27.

Kindle will serve as President-Elect for the West Central District, while Fischer will take on the role of District Band Vice-President Elect.

These positions come with multi-year terms and are part of the broader efforts of the Missouri Music Educators Association, which is affiliated with the National Association for Music Education.

State Fair Community College’s Music Program, overseen by Kindle, provides various opportunities for music education and performance, including vocal ensembles, concert bands, and jazz bands.
