A fatal crash was reported in Johnson County on Friday, February 9.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a vehicle driven by 66-year-old Larry Callahan traveled off the left side of the road, through the yard of a residence, and into a pond.

Callahan was pronounce deceased at Lee’s Summit Medical Center. Callahan was reportedly not wearing a seat-belt at the time of the crash.

The crash occurred at 10:37 p.m. on Northwest 475th Road in Johnson County.
