
Kenneth P. “Kenny” Leimkuehler, 62, of Slater, died Friday, February 9,
2024 at the University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.
Graveside services will be Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 10:30 A.M. at Salem Evangelistic Church Cemetery in Saline City, with Terry Jordan officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Jacobson, Brody Jacobson, Trae Jacobson, Hal Smith, and Bobby Cobb. Memorials are suggested to the Salem Evangelical Church Cemetery in care of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.
Born December 18, 1961 in Marshall, he was the son of the late Amiel A.
and Jewell Juanita Andrews Leimkuehler.
He is survived by a brother, Ronnie L. Leimkuehler of Slater; two sisters, Kathy A. Jacobson and her husband Bill of Slater, and Lisa L.
Pannell and her husband Lloyd of Marshall; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Mickey Gene Leimkuehler; and a nephew, William Brett Jacobson.
Mr. Leimkuehler was a member of the Salem Evangelical Church, and a
1980 graduate of Slater High School. He worked for Messer Machine Shop for many years, and was a longtime member of the Slater Volunteer Fire Department. He never met a stranger, and always had a winning smile.
