The Marshall High School Debate Squad competed at the Truman High School Tournament.

Andrea Gooden placed 10th in Dramatic Interpretation and 4th in Informative Speaking.

With those results Andrea has now achieved over 1000 points in her career in Speech and Debate at Marshall High School.

She joins an exclusive group in the National Speech and Debate Association.

Andrea is also one of only 12 Marshall High School students to be recognized as an NSDA Academic- All American.

The next tournaments for the Squad will be District competitions to qualify for the state and national tournaments.
