The Sweet Springs Board of Aldermen considered several agenda items during its meeting on Monday, February 12.

According to unofficial minutes from the meeting, the board started by considering a bill to increase the street bond to $1,000 to cover the City’s expense. After some discussion, the board passed both readings of the bill with a unanimous vote.

In other news, the board looked at two bids for the Daisy Street waterline project. One of the bids was from Coleman Plumbing in the amount of $296,000. The other bid was from Earthworks Excavation in the amount of $249,000.75. The board had a discussion on how to fund the project, but decided to not take any action.
