
Alice E. Zweimiller, 91, of Marshall, MO, died Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Born October 3, 1932, in Stookey County, IL, she was the daughter of the late Charles J. Ritsch and Susanne White Ritsch. On October 4, 1952, she married Richard V. “Dick” Zweimiller who preceded her in death on April 29, 2001. Alice was raised in the Kansas City area, lived in Sedalia for five years and then moved to Marshall in 1965, where she lived the remainder of her life, and was a member of First United Methodist Church. After making their home in Marshall, Dick and Alice owned and operated Marshall Package Liquor and Car Wash and she also worked at Milgram’s for 10 years. They enjoyed camping and this led them to serve for five years as campground hosts in Colorado. Alice found pleasure in working on crafts, sewing, making candy; she was known for giving advice to ladies who came to her daughter’s beauty shop.
Survivors include four children: Linda Zweimiller (Richard Clause) of Neslon, Donna Burke of Independence, Roger Zweimiller (Rhonda) of Great Mills, MD and Anita Triebsch (Ted) of Nelson; seven grandchildren: Zwy Thanh Danh Burke, Paula Causey, Lydia Zweimiller, Leah Tapo, Zan Anderson, Christopher Clause and Rhiannon Clause; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Joe Ritsch of Kansas City; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In addition to her parents and husband, Alice was preceded in death by her brother, Dave Ritsch; and her brother, Franklin Ritsch, in infancy.
