The Missouri Democratic Party will be running a Presidential Preference Primary from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024. The in-person voting location is still to be announced.

A presidential preference primary is a primary election in which a voter indicates a preference for a particular candidate to be a party’s nominee for the presidency.

Voters can vote in person on March 23, or by mail right now. Mail-in ballots must be sent to the Missouri Democratic Party, and must be received by March 23. All voters wanting to participate in this primary must be registered as a Democrat or Independent by February 21. The votes will be counted by March 25, with the results to be announced by March 28.

The candidates on the ballot include:

-Dean Phillips
-Stephen P. Lyons
-Armando Perez-Serrato
-Marianne Williamson
-Jason Michael Palmer
-Uncommitted

If you were registered with the State of Missouri as a Democrat by January 22, the Missouri Democratic Party is going to send you a ballot automatically. They started sending them on February 1.
