Rosemary Elaine Kennedy, 75 of Lincoln, MO, formerly of Marshall, died Thursday, February 15, 2024 at her home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall with Fr. Francis Doyle officiating.  Burial will follow in Mount St. Mary’s Cemetery at Shackelford.  A prayer service will begin at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall with visitation following until 7:30 p.m.  Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born December 31, 1948, in Kansas City, MO, she was the daughter of the late Elmo Loyd and Eleanor Miller Loyd.  She was a 1966 graduate of Carrollton High School and moved to Marshall in 1978.  On January 28, 1984, she married William Mark Kennedy who survives of the home.  Rosie lived in Marshall most of her life where she was a homemaker for her family, as well as various jobs through the years, and a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.  She was a member of the Chiefs Kingdom, loved bowling and softball, and enjoyed reading to the kids at Boonslick Library in Cole Camp.

In addition to her husband, Mark; she is survived by four children: Brian Roy (Robin) of Springfield, MO, Damien R. Kennedy (Yolanda) of Amado, AZ, Tabitha Ann Burnett (Kristy “K.K.” Wade) of Kansas City, MO and Theresa Elaine Kennedy of Marshall; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three siblings: Ruby Parker and Barney Loyd of Oklahoma, and Sandy Moore of Marshall, MO; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Rosie was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Tammy Roy; one son, David Todd Kennedy; and five siblings: Phillip Loyd, Shirley Stephens, Joyce Culbertson, Linda Williams and Elnora Loyd.
