Cooper County Route HH has closed on Monday, February 19 for the replacement of the Brush Creek Bridge.

Built in 1957, the bridge is in poor condition, is currently a one-lane bridge, and has reached the end of its useful life. The old structure will be replaced with a new wider, safer bridge that is striped for two-way traffic.

The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded a $764,119.69 contract to Widel, Inc. to complete the project. The contractor plans to close the bridge, located west of Pilot Grove between Buffalo Prairie Drive and Rodeo Drive. The bridge replacement is scheduled to be completed by the end of April 2024.

During the project, motorists will need to use an alternate route. All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
