On April 2, 2024, Warrensburg residents will vote on renewing the ½-cent capital improvement sales tax for another 20 years.

Initially approved in 1994 and renewed in 2007, this tax has funded vital projects like fire stations and street improvements.

The renewal, estimated to generate $2.5 million annually, must be used for capital assets like street repairs and equipment.

It will also clear remaining debt and fund new projects, enhancing public services and quality of life in Warrensburg.
