A New Franklin woman was injured in a Howard County crash on Tuesday, February 20.

According to a report, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Victoria Brown swerved to avoid hitting a deer, causing the vehicle to go off the left side of the road and overturn.

Brown was transported to University Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

The crash occurred at 11:05 p.m. on Route P, west of County Road 448 in Howard County.
