The Slater Wastewater Treatment Plant has received a Wastewater System of the Year nomination from the Missouri Rural Water Association.

The announcement came during the Slater City Council meeting on Tuesday, February 20. City Administrator Gene Griffith reported that about five systems get nominated for the award each year

The winner will be announced at the MRWA’s annual conference on March 12.
