A man from Saline County sustained severe injuries after crashing his pickup truck in northwest Missouri early Wednesday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, George Mobley, aged 51 and from Slater, was driving on Highway 41 around 4 a.m., approximately four miles north of Miami, when he lost control while navigating a curve.

This led to his vehicle veering off the road and colliding with an embankment. Mobley was taken to University Hospital for medical attention.
