A head-on collision was reported in Johnson County on Monday, February 26.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by Zeshan Siddiqua was traveling southbound in the northbound lane and struck a vehicle driven by Benjamin Richards head-on.

Siddiqua and Richards were both taken to Western Missouri Medical Center with moderate injuries.

The accident occurred at 2:38 p.m. on Highway 23, north of Northeast 500th Road in Johnson County.
