Kelly N. Roberts, 48, of Boonville, was arrested and transported to the Cooper County Detention Center where he was charged with 2nd degree domestic assault, unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action, and 2nd degree kidnapping. Bond was set at $26,500, cash or surety.

He remains in custody. These charges were brought against him due to the alleged incident involving assault and threats against his partner, as well as barricading them inside their residence.
