The Sedalia Fire Department urges caution with multiple large fires having ignited across the state.

Notably there was also a field fire in Pettis County.

Given the current conditions, it is urged that everyone refrain from burning until further notice.

Safety is paramount, and the present circumstances do not support safe burning practices.
