
Oralane “Lanie” Moore King, 90, of Marshall, MO, died Friday, February 23, 2024, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday prior to the service. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to Fitzgibbon Home Health and Hospice, Gill Memorial Baptist Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Born March 23, 1933, in Warsaw, MO, she was the daughter of the late Charlie C. Moore and Elva Lungenbeel Moore. She was a 1951 graduate of Warsaw High School and had lived in Marshall since 1951. On November 2, 1952, she married Floyd B. “Tinker” King who preceded her in death on May 18, 2018. She retired from Missouri Valley Physicians and was a member of Gill Memorial Baptist Church in Marshall.
Survivors include two sons, Sidney R. King and wife, Sherry of Marshall and Jubal D. King of Boonville; one granddaughter, Lisa Montgomery and husband, Aaron; one honorary granddaughter, Angie Woods; two great-grandchildren, Macin and Addison Montgomery; four honorary great-grandchildren, Carter, Cooper, Cole and Emilyn Woods; two brothers, Don Moore of Covina, CA and Lowell Moore of Odessa, MO; one sister, Jeannie Parlier of Phoenix, AZ; as well as nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Lanie was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Moore; and three sisters, Burma Holman, Wanda Barker and Bonnie Ingram.
