Local crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation plan to close Cooper County Route K near Blackwater this week for culvert replacement projects, weather permitting.

During the daily closures listed below, motorists will need to use an alternate route.

-Wednesday, March 6, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Route K will close north of Blackwater from Blackwater Drive to Missouri Route 41.
-Thursday, March 7, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Route K will close just south of Blackwater, from Fray Street to County Park Avenue.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
