The Missouri Department of Transportation has made modifications to the initial design for replacing the Missouri Route 5 bridge over Bear Creek, close to Glasgow.

Following input from a public meeting on January 30 and a subsequent two-week open comment period, the design team has updated the plans to incorporate a barrier separating the sidewalk from the driving area of the bridge.

This alteration emphasizes MoDOT’s focus on safety, its collaborative stance on infrastructure development, and responsiveness to the community’s requirements.
