Saline County Career Center’s DECA chapter recently competed at the State competition, with 13 members attending. At the event, nine students placed, and Avery Evans was chosen as the VP of Membership for the state action team.
Five students will represent the chapter at the International Career Development Conference. Notable achievements include projects such as “Show Me Safety,” which focused on community awareness, and “We Voted Today,” addressing business solutions.
The chapter received Thrive status for their community service and campaign efforts, and they’re the only chapter in Missouri to complete all five chapter campaigns for the second year running.
