The Ratchet Rockers and Team SCREAM, the robotics team of Smith-Cotton High School, secured the championship in the 2024 FIRST Robotics Central Missouri Regional after narrowly missing out on victory in the previous year’s event. They formed an alliance with Cougar Robotics and faced tough competition in the finals, ultimately winning after a replayed match due to scoring discrepancies. This victory ensured their participation in the FIRST World Championships that will take place in Houston.
