The Missouri Public Service Commission approved Evergy Missouri Metro’s request to adjust the fuel adjustment clause (FAC) charge for electric customers. This change, effective April 1, 2024, will lower the FAC for residential customers by approximately $1.11 per month for 1,000 kWh usage.

The FAC allows recovery of most fuel and power costs, encouraging conservation. The counties served include Carroll, Chariton, Howard, Saline, Lafayette, Johnson, and Pettis.
