The Sedalia-Pettis County Emergency Management Agency has shared a map indicating the locations of storm shelters in Pettis County. These shelters are available for use during tornado watches or warnings.

Updates on shelter openings will be provided through the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office NIXLE service and the Sedalia- Pettis County Emergency Management Agency Facebook page.

Please note that pets, alcohol, and smoking are prohibited in the shelters. Visitors are welcome to bring along lawn chairs, blankets, and other small comfort items.
