The Missouri Department of Corrections announced that an Algoa Correctional Center inmate died on Monday.

The department said that Robert Stean, 60, of Sedalia, was pronounced dead at 5:19 am, early Monday morning.

Stean started serving two four-year sentences for possession of controlled substance from Pettis County and a four-year sentence for possession of controlled substance from Franklin County on August 11, 2022.

Stean’s cause of death is still yet to be released.
