Marshall-Saline Development Corporation has sponsored several business and entrepreneur startup events that will be held in Saline County in April and June.

The first of these events is a StartUp Saline event that will be held in the Martin Community Center on April 18. MSDC’s Angy Littrell says community members are invited to attend to to discuss their ideas and explore what it means to be an entrepreneur.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 18 in the Martin Community Center in Marshall.

MSDC is also sponsoring a series of sessions with launchU aimed to provide resources to entrepreneurs and small business owners to help support economic growth.

The sessions are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 6, 13, 20, and 27. The cost to enroll is $300 per person. Breakfast and lunch will be included. You can apply by visiting bit.ly/launchUMarshall. Applications must be complete by May 15.
