The Concordia Board of Aldermen considered a picnic license request and held a discussion over the administration of contracts for events with the sale of alcohol during its meeting on Monday, March 18.
The board first approved a picnic license for the Concordia Piccadilly on Friday, March 22. After, the board went into a discussion about how entities should get approval to sell alcohol at events at places like the Community Center. The board is looking for a faster way for approval. Dale Klussman said the board is considering granting permission letters for groups that have given the board plenty of notice about their events.
The board will continue to discuss this in future meetings.
