The Slater School District Board of Education approved pay increases and raises to the district’s salary schedule during its meeting Tuesday, March 19.

Superintendent Terry Lorenz said the board approved a $2,500 pay increase to the annual salary of certified staff members. A five percent increase was approved for the non-certified staff members as well.

The board also approved the guest speaker for graduation in May. Tiffany Sample was selected by the board to speak at the upcoming graduation.
