
Two area residents were injured in a crash in Saline County on Friday, March 22.
According to a report, the crash occurred when a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Brian Sullins traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a culvert, causing the vehicle to overturn. Sullins was reportedly not wearing a seat belt, causing him to be ejected from the vehicle.
Sullins suffered serious injuries from the crash. A juvenile passenger in the vehicle had moderate injuries. Both parties were transported by life-flight to University Hospital in Columbia.
The crash occurred at 5 p.m. on Missouri 41 at Olympic Avenue in Saline County.
