The University of Central Missouri aims to address the persistent issue of high turnover rates within Missouri’s marijuana industry.

Commencing on April 15th, UCM will introduce three cannabis certificate programs designed to equip students for careers in the cannabis sector. These courses, exclusively available online, span nine weeks. The curriculum is sourced from Green Flower, a provider of educational materials utilized by various institutions nationwide. Such courses are increasingly making their way into college classrooms all around the nation, and UCM stands as one of the pioneering institutions in the Central Missouri area to offer such programs.
