The Salisbury School District Board of Education approved increases to the salaries for certified and classified staff during its meeting on March 20.

According to minutes from the meeting, a recommendation was approved to increase certified staff salary by $1,000, setting the base at $38,000. The board also approved a 2.702 percent increase for classified staff as well.

The board also set district health MEHG renewal rates at $789 on each full time employee. The difference will go to to the employee’s HSA accounts.

The next board meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 10.
