A woman from Sedalia sustained injuries in a single-vehicle rollover accident on Monday morning in Pettis County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on US 65, south of Abney Road.

The driver, 27-year-old Alyssa N. Wickham, was traveling northbound in a 2008 Mercury Mountaineer when she veered to avoid an object on the roadway. The vehicle then veered off the road, collided with a ditch, and rolled over multiple times.

Wickham suffered minor injuries and was transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment. The Mountaineer sustained significant damage and was towed away by State Fair Towing.

Pettis County Deputies provided assistance to the Highway Patrol at the scene.
