In the Saline County Commission meeting held on March 27, County Clerk Brittni Burton reminded the county that the Clerk’s Office will be conducting a public test of election equipment tomorrow, March 28th.

Additionally, she announced that absentee voting in the office will take place on the 30th, this Saturday, from 8 am to 12 pm.

Burton also informed that filing for the primary election has closed as of yesterday at 5pm. This resulted in a significant number of sign-ups. She further stated that she has published the list of individuals who filed on the official county clerk website, both at the local and state levels.

Moreover, Burton updated the commission that all poll worker positions have been filled, except for one on the Democratic side. Once this position is filled, they will be fully staffed for the upcoming election.
