Late on Monday night, a single-vehicle accident occurred in Howard County, resulting in a Fayette woman being hospitalized. Amanda Weis, aged 41, was driving an eastbound 2012 Toyota Highlander on 880 County Road 404 at approximately 11:32 p.m.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the SUV veered off the left side of the road, collided with a culvert, and flipped over.

Weis sustained serious injuries and was transported to University Hospital via ambulance, as confirmed by troopers. Notably, Weis was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident.
