The Sedalia Police Department arrested a subject after investigating suspicious activity on April 7.

According to the department, officers made contact with three subjects who were going through an abandoned house’s dumpster. One of the subjects, identified as Fredrick Curry Jr., began to flee on foot from officers. Officers chased Curry on foot before detaining him.

Dispatch confirmed that Curry had an active warrant for Probation Violation with no bond. Authorities searched Curry and found two small baggies with methamphetamine and a small glass jar of an unknown liquid.

Curry has been charged with felonies for possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest. Bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety. No court dates have been set at this time.
