The Lee’s Summit Police Department has issued an Endangered SILVER Advisory for a senior citizen reported missing from 3516 NE Kingwood Place, Lee’s Summit, MO around 3:30 p.m. on 04/08/2024.

The missing individual is identified as John Charles Jackson, an 87-year-old Caucasian male, standing at 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds, with white hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue plaid shirt and khaki pants. Jackson is suspected to have Alzheimer’s disease.

He is believed to be driving a silver 2012 Ford Focus with Missouri license plate ZA3Y3C.

The circumstances leading to his disappearance involve Jackson’s wife discovering he had taken their vehicle for a walk, which is unusual behavior for him as he typically does not drive alone and does not carry a phone.
