Born June 8, 1966, in Macon, MO, he was the son of Dixie Daniel Knight, who survives of Brunswick, and the stepson of the late Robert Knight. Robbie graduated from Brunswick High School and then attended Linn Technical College where he studied auto mechanics. On September 1, 1996, he married Tammy Strodtman who survives of the home. Robbie’s entire life revolved around vehicles. Whether it be with demolition derbies and race cars or working on motors, he was an avid “motor head.” His career, of course, was spent with auto dealerships. For the last 25 of those years, he worked at John Rector Motors for 13 years and was currently working at Rick Ball in Boonville. During his career he attained several certifications and awards for his technical skills and earned the distinction of master technician. Outside of work, his family was his other love, and especially his grandkids. Robbie had a special and unique bond with each one of them and had a special nickname for each one. They got to do all the things with Robbie that their parents probably wouldn’t let them do at home. He participated in shooting competitions, was a member of the National Rifle Association, and a member of A.A.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy Littrell of the home; his mother, Dixie Knight of Brunswick; two children, Clayton Deis of Gilliam and Tabitha Shutt (Will) of Ashland; six grandchildren: Taylor, Addisyn, Jace, Shane, Mackenzie and Ethan; as well as other extended family members and numerous friends.
In addition to his stepfather, Robert Knight; he was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Littrell.
