On April 13, 2024, around 8:30 PM, Boonville Police Officers responded to a call at Scooter’s Coffee concerning a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. Inside, they found Lauren Farrington, 31, of St. Louis, and Jakob Neal, 32, from Brighton, Colorado.

After investigating, officers discovered illicit drugs and related paraphernalia, leading to the arrest and booking of Farrington and Neal.

The Cooper County Prosecutor has charged Farrington with Trafficking Drugs Second Degree, two counts of Possession Of Controlled Substance, and Tampering With Physical Evidence In Felony Prosecution, while Neal faces charges of Trafficking Drugs Second Degree.

Both individuals remain in custody at Cooper County Jail.
