
Traffic was heavily delayed on Interstate 70 in Cooper County near mile marker 96 after a semi-truck overturned, blocking eastbound lanes for nearly three hours.
Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the incident, with the semi-truck blocking both lanes around 6:30 a.m. on Thursday.
By 8 a.m., the driving lane was reopened, followed by the passing lane around 9:20 a.m., according to the Highway Patrol.
There were no reported injuries, and only the tractor-trailer was involved.
Missouri Department of Transportation traffic cameras showed traffic being diverted into one lane near the 93.45 mile marker on I-70, causing slowdowns.
