On Thursday, April 25th, 2024, the Marshall Police Department, in collaboration with a representative from the Missouri Department of Public Safety Alcohol and Tobacco Control, carried out compliance inspections on several establishments in Marshall.

These establishments, situated at 1672 S Odell Ave, 1350 W College St, and 969 W College, were found to have sold alcohol to a minor. Criminal charges have been pressed against them.

Both the Police Department and State authorities are committed to conducting regular compliance checks to prevent the unlawful sale of alcohol to minors.
