Whenever there’s water covering the road, there might be hidden damage underneath. It’s crucial not to drive through flooded areas or around construction barricades. MoDOT advises all drivers to be cautious and avoid risking their safety by adhering to the “Turn Around! Don’t Drown!” principle. Even just six inches of water can cause loss of vehicle control and potential danger of being swept away by rising floodwaters.

In Cooper County:
– Route Z is closed south of I-70 at Heaths Creek.

In Howard County:
– Route 124 is closed from Route A to Route Y west of Harrisburg.
– Route H is closed from County Road 201 to County Road 222 northeast of Fayette.
– Route W is closed from Route EE to County Road 418 due to flooding from Moniteau Creek.
– Route Z is closed from Route 87 to County Road 340 west of New Franklin.

In Saline County:

-MO-127 is closed Southbound due to flooding

-MO-127 is closed Northbound due to flooding

-Route VV is closed Southbound due to flooding

-Route VV is closed Northbound due to flooding.
In Carroll County:
– Route UU is CLOSED Eastbound due to flooding

-Route UU is CLOSED Westbound due to flooding
