
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for specific towns located on rivers in Missouri, including the river point at Miami (affecting Saline, Chariton, and Carroll Counties) and the river point at Waverly (affecting Lafayette, Saline, and Carroll Counties).
As of 9:00 PM CDT Sunday, the river stage was at 18.8 feet. The forecast indicates a rise above flood stage late tonight to a crest of 20.8 feet early tomorrow afternoon, before falling below flood stage early Tuesday morning. Flood stage is at 20.0 feet.
