A serious injury was reported in a crash in Cooper County on Wednesday, May 1.

According to a report, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by Jameson McAnelly ran off the right side of the road and overturned. McAnelly was reportedly not wearing a seat belt or safety device during the accident.

McAnelly was transported to University Hospital for treatment of serous injuries.

The accident occurred at 5 p.m. on Missouri 41, west of Missouri 135 in Cooper County.
