The Kansas City Royals fell to the Texas Rangers 3-2 in ten innings on Sunday, May 5. The Royals led 2-0 heading into the eighth inning, but the Rangers scored runs in the
eighth, ninth, and tenth to beat the Royals. Vinnie Pasquantino drove in both Kansas City runs with a sacrifice fly and a double. Daniel Lynch pitched five scoreless innings, but picked up a no decision. The Royals dropped two of three in the series and fell to 20-15 on the season.
