On the early morning of May 4th,  in Warrensburg, a shooting incident transpired around 1:47 a.m. Law enforcement officers responded to discover one individual with a gunshot wound to the front of their left shin. The victim’s vehicle exhibited damage, with multiple bullet holes in the trunk and driver’s side door. Witnesses reported seeing a male wearing dark clothing discharging a handgun in the vicinity, accompanied by other individuals.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the suspect, identified as Bryan K.D. Logan, standing by his vehicle with ammunition nearby. Investigation led to Logan’s arrest. During interrogation following his Miranda Warning, Logan confessed to using his handgun to deter two individuals he was in disagreement with, firing off several rounds. He admitted to disposing of the weapon inside his vehicle. A search warrant later authorized the seizure of a black semi-automatic 9mm Smith and Wesson M&P pistol loaded with ammunition from Logan’s vehicle.

The Warrensburg Investigations Bureau pursued legal action against Logan, seeking charges including Unlawful Use of a Weapon While Intoxicated, Unlawful Use of a Weapon causing injury to a motor vehicle, Unlawful Use of Weapon Exhibiting, Armed Criminal Action, and Assault 1st Degree. A warrant, issued by the local courts, ordered Logan’s arrest on these charges without bail.
