Shirley A. Miller, 76, of St. Joseph, MO, formerly of Concordia, died Monday, May 6, 2024, at Mosaic Life Care of St. Joseph.

Born March 8, 1948, in Waverly, she was the daughter of the late Harry Viebrock and Anita Driver Viebrock.  Shirley had lived in Concordia most of her life, was a graduate of Concordia High School and had attended Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Emma where she taught Sunday school.  On September 18, 1982, she married Donnie Ray Miller who preceded her in death on January 8, 2010.  In addition to being a homemaker, Shirley worked outside the home as a meat packer at various factories.  She was a member of Optimist International, played on a bowling league, and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.  Shirley enjoyed attending the Chiefs spring training and watching their games.

Survivors include three sons: Anthony Miller (Denise) of St. Joseph, Kevin Miller (Cathy) of Concordia and Kobby Miller of Lexington; six grandchildren: Lance (Jodi), Lucas, Levi, Lynzi, Dan (Bailey) and Dakota Miller; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Rick Viebrock (Diana) of Concordia and James Viebrock (Esther) of Illinois; as well as nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Shirley was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Viebrock; a granddaughter, Destiny Miller; and a great-granddaughter, Novalee Miller.
