The Slater City Council reviewed the city’s 2023 audit during its meeting on Tuesday, May 7.

City Administrator Gene Griffith went through the entire audit page by page. Griffith reported that the audit went well for the city.

The council also discussed two upcoming events the city is hosting. The Slater Wine Walk is scheduled for Saturday, May 18. Steven McQueen Day is Saturday, June 15. Registration for the car show begins at 9 a.m., with judging at noon.
