A two-vehicle crash was reported on U.S. 50 in Johnson County on Thursday, May 9.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a vehicle driven by 74-year-old Elizabeth Tuttle attempted to cross the highway and entered the path of another vehicle, causing the collision.

Tuttle was transported to Research Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.

The accident occurred at 4:12 p.m. on eastbound Highway 50 in Johnson County.
